Sol Haber news portal published a report on a Syrian reporter for the state-run TRT channel being awarded by the "Salvation Government", which it says is close to Al-Qaeda.
İstanbul 7th Penal Court of Peace blocked access to the report. The Sol Haber then removed the report and published a new story on August 7 on the court order.
The court blocked that report too. Sol Haber published another story on September 5, again on the court order. This article was blocked by the court on September 20.
The Access Providers Union, the agency to implement the order, delivered it to Sol Haber today. It announced that it had to remove the article.
"Writing a story that repeats our story will no doubt be disrespectful to the order, and will be a "trick" that requires legal sanctions," the Sol Haber said, adding that the "methodology of orders of access block" is unlawful.
The court said in its order that the content on the blocked addresses "violate the applicant's honor and dignity", "violate the presumption of innocence." (HA/VK)
