İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İMM) Cemeteries Department has announced that 454 people lost their lives in the city yesterday (November 25). According to the data shared by the Metropolitan Municipality, 203 of these deaths occurred due to "infectious disease."
On the other side, the Ministry of Health has also announced the daily novel coronavirus (COVID-19) data for November 25. The Ministry has indicated that 168 people lost their lives due to the virus all across Turkey.

Over the past four days, the Ministry of Health and the İMM Cemeteries Department have been announcing contradictory figures on "COVID-19" and "infectious disease" deaths. These numbers are as follows:

Ministry of Health: 139 deaths across Turkey
İMM: 186 deaths only in İstanbul
November 23
Ministry of Health: 153 deaths across Turkey
İMM: 201 deaths only in İstanbul
November 24
Ministry of Health: 161 deaths across Turkey
İMM: 211 deaths only in İstanbul
November 25
Ministry of Health: 168 deaths across Turkey
