Throughout Turkey, 83 locations in 32 provinces are in Covid-19 quarantine, the Ministry of Interior announced today (August 7).
The quarantine sites consist of four towns, 37 villages, 39 neighborhoods and three hamlets, where a total of 54,053 people reside, according to the ministry statement.
Quarantine orders are given by public hygiene committees, which are affiliated with governors' offices.
Since the start of the epidemic in Turkey, quarantine orders have been given for 788 locations in 68 provinces, where 623,766 people live, the ministry noted. (AS/VK)
