As a company providing public service, the Dicle Electricity Distribution Inc. (DEDAŞ) should provide electricity " uninterruptedly, reliably and free from power quality problems," it said. "A contrary situation is likely to be considered within the scope of the crime of prevention of the right to benefit from public services."
"It is seen that Yunus Emre Binen died as a result of the inability to use the medical device that should be used in his treatment as a result of the power outage for no reason.
"As the Diyarbakır Bar Association, we demand an effective judicial process regarding the officials who have negligence and fault within the scope of the crime of causing death by negligence and prevention of the right to benefit from public services." (AÖ/VK)
