The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services will prepare the "fourth national action plan" regarding violence against women.
The General Directorate Women's Status will lead the works to prepare a strategy document, the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) reported.
The Ministry will prepare the draft strategy document and submit it to the relevant institutions and organizations for their opinion and will implement new measures.
The action plan will be announced to the public after it is finalized.
The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services, in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry Interior, has completed the draft regulation for the use of electronic bracelets, which are currently being piloted in 15 provinces, throughout the country.
After the technical infrastructure is completed by the Ministry of Interior, electronic bracelets are expected to be used countrywide.
Also, the Technical Committee for Combating Violence Against Women meet monthly to evaluate the government's efforts against male violence, according to the ministry. (EMK/VK)
