The prosecutor's office decided not to prosecute the sexual harassment on Twitter targeting main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) İstanbul Chair Canan Kaftancıoğlu, journalists Nevşin Mengü and lawyer Feyza Altun and actor Berna Laçin.
On May 1, Kadir G. tweeted, "Everyone has written [about this]. If they attempt a coup, Nevşin is mine, Berna is mine, Feyza Altun is mine. I don't take Canan, don't even think about it" from the "elmeru_baba" account.
After an application by Laçin, İstanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office started an investigation for "insult with a written and video message" and threat."
There was no action constituting the elements of threat offense, the Prosecutor's Office said, citing Court of Cassation decisions. (EMK/VK)
