Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) MP Sera Kadıgil has brought the suspicious suicide of Nadira Kadirova to the parliamentary agenda. Kadirova, a domestic employer for ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) MP Şirin Ünal, allegedly committed suicide with Ünal's weapon.
In the parliamentary question she submitted to Justice Minister Abdülhamit Gül, Kadıgil underscored that there is suspicion among the public that the incident might be covered up because it happened at a ruling party MP's house.
"Social media users and media outlets have often expressed suspicions that the incident may be murder, not suicide.
"It is of great importance that all aspects of the incident be investigated thoroughly and that the public is fully informed of the developments without censorship, both to ease the public conscience and to protect the dignity and honor of the people who are subject to the allegations."

Kadıgil requested answers for the following questions:

Is it certain the autopsy report that the death is suicide?
2- The Ministry of Justice General Directorate of International Law and Foreign Relations' Circular 71 on the Reporting of Deaths of Foreigners contains detailed regulations on how to report the deaths of foreigners who died as a result of a judicial incident. Accordingly;

- Two copies of the death certificate for the death to be registered in the country of the deceased,
- Documents such as passport, driving license, identity card that are used to identify the identity and address of the deceased,
- If the dead body of the deceased was not received by the consulate, a letter stating what happened to the and the burial location if buried,
Are all these procedures completed? Was the funeral delivered to the consular authorities or the family?
3- According to Kadirova's brother's statement; it is alleged that Kadirova spoke with her friend Leyla on the phone for two hours before the incident and said that she was "subjected to sexual harassment". Has the investigation into these allegations been extended? Are the phone records requested and the statements of the mentioned names taken?
4- Another friend of Kadirova, Nigar Abdurrahmanova, stated that they told the police about the harassment incident and said, "However, they did not take our statement," are among the allegations reported by the press. Has Abdurrahmanova's statement been taken? If not, why not?
5- Did Nadira Kadirova have a residence and work permit? Was she insured? Is there an official document proving that she works at the mentioned house?
6 - Within the framework of all these allegations, has the phone of Nadira Kadirova and the computer if there is any, been examined? Have the allegations of the deceased's relatives been the subject of the investigation? (EMK/VK)
