İHD'nin her yıl 24 Nisan'da Sultanahmet'te yaptığı Ermeni Soykırımı anması ve basın açıklaması polis engeline takıldı. İHD Eş Genel Başkanı Eren Keskin'in dernekte okuduğu anma metninde "İnkar bu gerçeği değiştirmiyor" ifalerine yer verildi.

Armenians who were forced to emigration, lost and killed in 1915, were commemorated with flowers and candles at Taksim Square, Istanbul. "As the official policy to deny this crime continues, the bleeding scar at the hearts of the people of this land deepens," said Zeynep Tanbay.

Turkey's Human Rights Association held a protest in front of the Ibrahim Pasha Palace in Istanbul, former house of detention where prominent Armenians were held before being sent to forced emigration in 1915. "Stop denial and accept this crime with all its consequences" the association , addressing the government.
