Astana process initiated by Russia, Iran and Turkey for peace in Syria is being moved to United Nations (UN) platform.
UN Special Representative to Syria Steffan de Mistura has invited Iran, Russia and Turkey to Geneva to hold talks on Syria.
According to Reuters citing UN spokesperson, it was stated that representatives to come from Iran, Russia and Turkey will discuss Syria’s Constitution Committee.
The summit to be held in Geneva, Switzerland will be organized on September 11-12.
A decision is expected to be made about the committee that is planned to be formed for a new constitution in Syria.
After this summit, the UN plans to hold a meeting in which the US will participate in as well. (HA/TK)
