Election will be held under State of Emergency
RSF Director to England Rebecca Vincent called for the release of imprisoned journalists in Turkey and stressed that the country will soon have a snap election.
In her speech on Downing Street, Vincent said, “Red carpet is rolled out for Erdoğan in England and this is embarrassing”, and added:
“People cannot access to free information under State of Emergency regime. People will have to cast vote without seeing the whole picture within such short period of time for campaign under these circumstances”.
