In the wake of the United States and Turkey mutually suspending the visa services, a detention warrant has been allegedly issued for another US Embassy staff.

According to a report by Toygun Atilla from Hürriyet daily newspaper, the person facing detention warrant hasn’t left the embassy and yet to be captured. Minister of Justice Abdülhamit Gül rejected the allegations.
"There is no second detention or arrest within our knowledge", Gül said.
US Embassy in İstanbul staff Metin Topuz was arrested as part of the Fethullahist Terror Organization (FETÖ) probe, and the US Embassy in Ankara declared that they were “deeply disturbed” with this development. (EKN/TK)
