President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has come together with representatives from business world from at the gala dinner of Turkey and the US at DEİK-Turkey Investment Support and Publicity Agent in US capital Washington D.C.
Erdoğan remarking “I see that investors from the US are being a bit timid in their view on Turkey”, called for businesspersons to invest in Turkey.
Erdoğan spoke as follows:
“There is not a single businessman who has regretted after making investment, exposed to unlawful practices, has difficulty in economizing the money earned in Turkey. Nevertheless, I know many businessmen who still cannot draw the money from the country in which he invested.
“Indeed it is a fact that certain problems are experienced in our region and negative impacts of those are felt in our country as well. However, those cannot prevent Turkey’s determination and march towards its goals. We will never let terror harm our public order and economic development”.
Erdoğan will meet Joe Biden
Erdoğan will meet US Vice President, Joe Biden at St. Regis Hotel.
Afterwards he will attend the dinner to be held by US President, Barack Obama in honor of state and government leaders at the White Palace.
Erdoğan had held a closed-door meeting with US Secretary of State, John Kerry at Washington Embassy Residence yesterday.

Erdoğan visiting the US to attend Nuclear Summit in Washington has been protested at the entrance of the hotel he stayed.
Erdoğan’s bodyguards’ shouting to suppress the slogans of the protesters has become an object of derision on social media.
