People’s Protection Units (YPG) and Riyadh-supported High Negotiations Committee (HNG) have announced that they would abide by the truce led by Russia and the US.
Talking to Reuters, Redur Xelil, an authority from Democratic Union Party’s (PYD) military wing YPG has noted “We as YPG have an high opinion of the current plan and will abide completely by the truce reserving the our right to react within the scope of our legitimate self defence right”.
Edoğan had said, YPG should be excluded
In his statement yesterday, Erdoğan had remarked “Everybody should acknowledge at last that PYD/YPG is an extension of the terrorist organization PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party). PYD and YPG should be excluded from the truce agreement just like DAİŞ (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) is”.
Opponents will also abide by the truce
Also the Riyadh-backed opponents have announced that they would abide by the truce. High Negotiations Committee consisting of Syrian opponents backed by Saudi Arabia, has declared that they would follow the truce for two weeks agreed on by Russia and the US to be in effect as of February 27.
FSA: Truce would not be wise while Russia bombing
Free Syrian Army (FSA) has declared its doubt in accepting the truce agreed on by Russia and the US to be in effect as of February 27.
A source from FSA talking to RİA Novosti (Russian Agency of International Information) confirmed yesterday (February 24) that they had been holding negotiation meetings for the truce. Pointing out to their demand for all parties to abide by the truce, it has also been added “While Russian warplanes continue bombing us, complying with a truce would not be wise”.
Also meeting between Russia and Saudi Arabia was positive
The telephone conversation made between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdülaziz el Suud had been reported in the media and Kremlin had announced that the meeting as to truce in Syria had gone positive.

Also Syrian regime open for truce
Syria had also agreed to cease the operations with the exception of ISIS and Al Nusra within the frame of the the truce agreement reached by US and Russia.

Following the US and Russia announcing the date as February 27 for truce excluding organizations such as ISIS, Al Nusra, Assad had also issued a decree proclaiming general elections will be held on April 13.
