Anonymous announced that they have carried a series of cyber attacks and blocked the dDos access on government-related websites including mam.gov.tr, mersin.gov.tr, eshot.gov.tr, dsi.gov.tr, istanbul.gov.tr and some private firms that provided peppers gas to Turkey.
Collaborating with Turkey’s Redhack, Anonymous also temporarily restricted the access to official websites of Presidency, AKP and Istanbul Police Headquarters.
In a video released early today, Anonymous said they have been observing the police violence inflicted on Gezi resistance protestors in Turkey.
“Thousands of people took the control in the streets. Thousands were detained.
“Türkiye is said to be a democracy, but the government of Turkey is acting like miserable dictators in China.
“Anonymous is enraged by this attitude. We will make the government to kneel down on its knees with our worldwide struggle. We will crackdown the websites of government.
“You have censured the social media and other communication channels in order to hide what you have done. Now Anonymous will bring you down and your people will take over your power.” (ÇT/BM)
