Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) has blocked access to women oriented news agency JinNews for the sixth time.

Setting off with the “On the pursuit of truth with women’s pens”, JinNews went online on September 25, 2017.
JinNews broadcast in Turkish, Kurdish and English on jinnews.com.tr. Working with woman editors and correspondents, JinNews is practicing women-oriented journalism.
15 media outlets including Turkey’s first news agency JINHA were closed through a statutory decree issued October 29, 2016, and Gazete Sûjin started its publication life in December 2016. Gazete Sûjin was closed through a statutory decree on August 25. (EA/TK)
