Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Co-Chair Tuncel, who has been in prison for over 114 days, has sent a March 8 Women’s Day message from Silivri Prison.
In the letter, Tuncel said, “In a period in which massacres, violence and sexual abuses against women have become systematical, women raising their voice in all fields of life and fortifying women solidarity is needed more than ever”.
Tuncel was beaten and detained on October 4, 2016 and arrested on November 6, 2016. (ÇT/TK)
