Women Going to Diyarbakır on Saturday

Women from different cities are going to keep watch for peace on Saturday in Diyarbakır.

Women from different cities are going to Diyarbakır province on Saturday (February 6) to keep a peace watch within the scope of campaign “We are on the side of life not death, we defend our right to peace and truth” launched by women and LGBTI organizations on the call of Women for Peace Initiative.

The peace watch will start at 11 a.m. in Sümerpark.

The signatories of the campaign “1,000 Women for Peace” have exceeded 5,000. Following the watch in Diyarbakır, the women will submit the petition to the Speakership of the Parliament. (ÇT/DG)
