He won’t return to Turkey
Staying in Germany at the moment, Deniz Naki decided not to return to Turkey.
Deutsche Welle reported that Naki won’t return to Turkey due to “safety concern” following the assault he faced as he was driving on highway in Germany.
Speaking to Der Spiegel magazine, Naki’s lawyer Stephan Kuhn said that Naki will end his contract with Amed Sportive Activities Club and stay in Germany in line with his, his family’s and friends’ decision.
Naki was attacked with firearms as he was driving on highway in North Ren-Westphalia state on January 7. (EKN/TK)
