Two soldiers have lost their lives, 15 others have been injured in the armed clashes between the Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) and Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Operation Euphrates Shield carried out in Al-Bab region of Syria.
TSK in its statement announced that the 15 soldiers who had no severe injuries were brought to hospital.
The two soldiers who lost their lives were brought to Antep on helicopters and were delivered to morgue after autopsy procedures were completed.
Operation Euphrates Shield carried out by the Turkish Armed Forces together the Free Syrian Army (FSA) had been launched on August 24, 2016. The operation into Al-Bab had begun in December 9, 2016.
58 soldiers from Turkey have lost their lives in the operation so far. (NV/DG)
