Three writers from the Yeniçağ daily newspaper have been taken into custody as part of the investigation launched into the Gülen Community in the wake of the July 15 coup attempt.
Servet Avcı, Adnan İslamoğulları and Yavuz Selim Demirağ were detained within the scope of the operation run by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor.
The newspaper also stated that a detention warrant has been issued for another of its writers, Kürşat Zorlu.
According to its own report, the writers, whose home computers were seized, have been taken to Başkent Sports Hall.
Because of the state of emergency, the writers will not be allowed to meet with their own attorneys, but only with those appointed by the bar association, the report added. (NV/TK)
