Four of the 13 people, who were taken into custody today (November 16) as part of the operation that was launched against two academics and civil society representatives, have been released.
Dean of the Faculty of Law of İstanbul Bilgi University Turgut Tarhanlı; General Coordinator of Anadolu Kültür Asena Günal and one of its employees Bora Sarı have been released with an international travel ban after giving their depositions as part of the operation conducted by the İstanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
Later in the night, Prof. Dr. Şahika Yüksel has announced on Twitter that the former Director General of Anadolu Kültür and current Co-Director of Truth Justice Memory Center Meltem Aslan has also been released.

The ones still detained are: Prof. Dr. Betül Tanbay from the Department of Mathematics at Boğaziçi University and an Academic for Peace signatory to the declaration "We will not be a party to this crime";Anadolu Kültür Executive Board Deputy Chair Yiğit Ekmekçi; executive board member Ali Hakan Altınay; Ayşegül Güzel, Filiz Telek, Yiğit Aksakoğlu, Yusuf Cıvır, Hande Özhabeş and producer Çiğdem Mater.
