Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) former Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş’s fourth hearing has been held in Ankara 19th Heavy Penal Court.
Demirtaş attended the hearing via Audio and Visual Information System (SEGBİS), Mezopotamya News Agency reported.
Demirtaş’s lawyers didn’t stand present in the hearing.
According to the news report, Demirtaş stated that he wanted to depose by coming to the hearing in person and when his lawyers were present, and demanded that the hearing be adjourned.
Declaring its interlocutory decision, the court ruled for continuation of Demirtaş’s arrest.
Next hearing was adjourned to October 3. (PT/TK)
