Republican People’s Party (CHP) Spokesperson Bülent Tezcan has shared the documents that reveal money transfer of President and Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s family members to the Isle of Man with the press.
The documents were first presented by CHP Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu on November 28.
Showing the bank receipts of the money transfer to the cameras one by one, Tezcan then showed the swift messages of money transfers and briefly said:
“We will give them to the prosecution”
“They’ve made a row and are in panic. They called them fake. I call on those who call the documents fake, we don’t know about fake but the ones who do business in offshore islands will know very well how to conduct fake trade.
“The prosecution demanded the documents, we will give the documents to the prosecution”.
“Which company did they sell?”
“They said that it was sale of a company. Who said that? AK Party Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did. As we were talking only about an outgoing money, they speak the incoming ones.
“Now, then you have to answer to this question: Which company did they sell? Who are the partners of this company? How much is the capital of this company? Where are the transfer warrants of these companies? When did you establish this company? What is its profit, how much activities did it carry out? How much tax did it pay? How did it reach this value?”
“We thank Erdoğan”
“We thank Mr. Erdoğan, he has enabled us to ask these questions. We didn’t know about the sale, we’ve learned it thanks to Erdoğan.
“This is a 1-sterlin company but there is a payment of 15 million (Euros). What kind of trade is that?”
On November 28, at CHP group meeting, Kılıçdaroğlu had shared the swift codes and transfer receipts of 13 million 750 thousand dollars sent by Erdoğan's brother, son, brother-in-law, principal clerk to Isle of Man with public on November 28.
State-run TRT cut the live broadcast as Kılıçdaroğlu started to bring documents into the open.
In the wake of CHP Leader Kılıçdaroğlu revealing the documents concerning Erdoğan's family members transferring 15 million dollars to the Isle of Man, initial reactions came from AKP group deputy chairs Bostancı and Turan.
Speaking to Sputnik News, AKP Group Deputy Chair Naci Bostancı said "He is shaking some documents, we don't know what they are". Another AKP Group Deputy Chair Bülent Turan interviewing to A Haber (A News) said that Kılıçdaroğlu presented an official transaction as a document and urged him to resign.
Vice Prime Minister and Spokesperson for Government Bekir Bozdağ said "Everything Kılıçdaroğlu said about our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, his family and acquaintances is a lie, slander" and "neither our Mr. President nor his family has any money abroad".
President Eroğan also commenting on the documents said "If you say that you possess all the documents, stop waving them at the stand. Share it with our people, go to the Prosecutor's Office and hand them over".
Erdoğan also denied that Mustafa Gündoğan, who was also mentioned in the documents, was his executive assistant as claimed by Kılıçdaroğlu. (EKN/TK)
