Police haven’t let the people attend group meeting of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) at Ekin Ceren Park where the HDP has launched Conscience and Justice Watch. Only HDP executives and MPs have been let inside the park.
Coming in front of the park, the people watched the group meeting from the outside. The people expressed their support with applauds and ululations during the meeting. Pacing up and down symbolically for the arrested MPs in the middle of the police blockade, the HDP MPs then started the “Conscience and Justice Watch” that will last for 7 days-24 hours.
“We are here to say ‘no’ against the attacks on all humanitarian values”
Speaking at the group meeting held at the park, HDP Spokesperson Osman Baydemir briefly said:
“All values in our geography have been trampled in the past two years. Free will of the peoples whom we have been representing for the past two years has been seized.
“We are here to make a call from our conscience to the conscience of international and national public. Our presence here is a movement of conscience and justice. It is an effort to protect justice conscientiously.
