Debates concerning extending the State of Emergency (OHAL) for three more months have been concluded in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) General Council. The Prime Ministry Resolution extending the OHAL for the fourth time has been approved in the parliament.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan suggested that the OHAL be extended for another three months.
The OHAL was declared on July 2016 in the wake of July 15 coup attempt and was extended on Ocobter 19, April 19 and now to be extended on July 21. (EKN/TK)
