According to Supreme Electoral Council’s regulation, Turkey’s citizens who live in Europe started to vote for April 16 constitutional amendment referendum at six different ballot boxes set up in six countries today.
The voting starts at 9 a.m. and ends at 9 p.m.
The voting for the ballot boxes outside of Turkey ends on April 9.
Ballots were set up at customs as well
Voting began at customs gates and ballot boxes at the airports.
The voting at border gates will continue until April 16, 5 p.m.
The ballot boxes will be set up at 120 representation offices in 57 countries abroad.
The number of electors outside of Turkey is 2,927,000. The highest number of electors is in Germany with 1,423,000.
In Europe, the ballot boxes will be set up in Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Denmark. (AS/TK)
