Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Ağrı MP Dirayet Dilan Taşdemir has been detained in Ağrı’s Doğubeyazıt district as she was leaving the district.
A detention warrant was issued for Taşdemir due to the proceedings against her.
Who is Dirayet Dilan Taşdemir
Born in 1982 in Ağrı, Dirayet Dilan Taşdemir graduated from the departments of sociology and archeology at Mersin University.
She served as consultant in Women Policies at Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality. She took in charge in the field of gender and women studies in many national and international platforms. She speaks German in intermediate level. (NV/TK)
