Sadi Güven, the President of the Supreme Election Board (YSK) has announced the date for the referendum on the Constitutional Amendment Draft as April 16, 2017.
55 million voters at home and 3 million voters abroad
YSK President Güven also shared data regarding voters inside and outside of Turkey:
* There are 55,336,960 voters registered on lists of inland voters.
* 164,000 polls are to be placed countrywide.
* There are 2,929,389 voters registered on lists of voters abroad.
* Votes will be given in polls to be placed in 119 representative agencies and 32 customs stations in 57 countries.
* The votings at representative agencies will take place between March 27-April 9 and at customs stations between March 27-April 16. (ÇT/DG)
