With regards to an airstrike by Russian Air Forces killing three soldiers from Turkey in al-Bab region of Syria, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said; "Our jets relied on the coordinates provided by our Turkish partners. Turkish soldiers were not supposed to be there".

According to the report on Sputnik News, Peskov in a press conference he held today (February 10) told there was no divergence regarding the reasons of incident causing death of three soldiers and added;
"There is no debate on the reasons of the incident. Unfortunately, while carrying out an airstrike on terrorist groups, our soldiers relied on the coordinates provided by our Turkish partners when conducting the airstrike. No Turkish soldiers were supposed to be within the range of these coordinates.
"I can say that the error was caused by a lack of coordination while sharing the coordinations". (EKN/DG)
