Hakkari's Yüksekova Co-Mayor Arrested

Hakkari’s Yüksekova Co-Mayor Adile Kozay has been arrested on charge of “[illegal] organization membership”.

Kozay was assigned to this post on proxy after present co-mayor Ruken Yetişkin was relieved of duty on October 15, 2015.

There are 55 arrested Democratic Regions Party (DBP) co-mayors and deputy chairs and 41 trustees were appointed to municipalities as of December 9, 11 a.m. (ÇT/TK)
