Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has spoken at the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) High Advisory Council Meeting organized in Sheraton Hotel in Ankara.
In response to TÜSİAD Chair Cansen Başaran Symes saying “State of Emergency (OHAL) must be ended”, Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said “All right, we also want the OHAL to come to an end, no objection to that. However, we haven’t take any decision that directly affects economy”.
“We want OHAL to end too but…”
“OHAL is a consequence. It is not something that we’ve put into practice out of nowhere. Turkey has passed a big examination in the grip of a scoundrel organization.

TÜSİAD: We expect OHAL to be ended
Speaking at the TÜSİAD High Advisory Council Meeting, Symes had said “Some OHAL implementations caused by security concerns affect commercial life in the Anatolia negatively and causes loss of trust in the economy”.
“We expect the OHAL to be ended as soon as possible, country’s parliament to focus on its duty and Statutory Decree governing to be brought to an end”.
