Mardin Co-Mayor Ahmet Türk, who was suspended from duty due to trustee appointment and Mardin’s Artuklu district’s Co-Mayor Emin Irmak have been taken into custody.

It was reported that Türk was detained from his home and Irmak detained from his post.

On November 17 Mardin Governor Mustafa Yaman was appointed as trustee to Mardin Metropolitan Municipality.
