HDP Group Meeting Held With No Audience in Empty Reception Room

A part of the guests who wanted to attend the HDP Group Meeting were not allowed in the reception. Other guests, deputies and consultants did not attend the meeting to protest the practice. HDP Spokesperson Bilgen has commented “This picture is the fault of the Parliament”.

Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Group Meeting has been held in an empty reception room today (November 15).

As some of the guest were not allowed in the meeting hall, other guests, deputies and party group consultants have also refused to attend the meeting and protested.

HDP Diyarbakır Deputy Ziya Pir and HDP Siirt Deputy Besime Konca were in the council at the meeting moderated by HDP Diyarbakır Deputy and Group Deputy Chairperson Çağlar Demirel.

Talking to the empty room, HDP Spokesperson and Kars Deputy Ayhan Bilgen has noted; "This picture is the fault of the Parliament".

Representatives From Closed foundations were supposed to attend

HDP eşbaşkanları ve milletvekillerinin tutuklanmasının ardından geçen hafta yapılan grup toplantısına büyükelçiler katılmıştı. Ambassadors had attended the group meeting held upon the arrests of HDP co-Chairs and Deputies last week.

Representatives from foundations closed in accordance with the State of Emergency Law were supposed to attend this week's meeting.

The guards at the door of the reception room reportedly told the guests who were not allowed in the room, that their entrance was being denied due to "their slogans in last week's meeting". (ÇT/DG)
