Kılıçdaroğlu: Please Sue Me

Republican People’s Party (CHP) Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has said, “It is the AKP (Justice and Development Party) that aids and abets terror organizations. Why don’t they put me on trial? Please do this so I can put forward all evidence”.
Speaking ahead of CHP Party Assembly meeting at CHP Headquarters, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that arresting deputies before judgement about them is finalized contravenes constitution.
Some highlights from Kılıçdaroğlu speech are the following:
“It is the AKP that aids and abets terror organizations. It is the AKP executives who put Turkey in trouble with and aid and abate Al Nusra, ISIS, terror organizations in the Middle East and Turkey, PKK, FETÖ and all other terror organizations.
“Why don’t they put me on trial? Please do this so I can put forward all evidence. They are scared because they know they are guilty. They are imposing such heavy crackdowns on us because they know they are guilty. They start legal action for anything but not this one”.
Remarking that arresting journalists is a disgrace for democracy, Kılıçdaroğlu also criticized the government for “favoring separation of the country”. (ÇT/TK)
