Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ has been referred to judgeship for arrest after the prosecution proceedings were completed.
Yüksekdağ was seized from her home within the scope of the operation in which 11 HDP MPs and HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş were detained.
According to the state-run Anadolu Agency, the indictment for Yüksekdağ includes following crimes:
"Founding a terror organization with the aim to commit crime, propagandizing for terror, obviously insulting government of Republic of Turkey, its state, judicial organs, militaristic and security institution, praising crime and criminal, disrupting unity and integrity of the country and state".
HDP Co-Chairs Selahattin Demirtaş and Figen Yüksekdağ, Şırnak MPs Ferhat Encü, Leyla Birlik, Hakkari MPs Selma Irmak, Abdullah Zeydan, Diyarbakır MPs İdris Baluken, Nursel Aydoğan, Zira Pir, Ankara MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Mardin MP Gülser Yıldırım were detained in a house raid launched towards morning.
Demirtaş, Yüksekdağ, Birlik, and Aydoğan were referred to court for arrest. Ziya Pir was released on judicial control decision. (ÇT/AS/TK)
