Trustee Appointed to Diyarbakır Municipality

Ankara Etimesgut Sub-Governor Cumali Atilla has been appointed as trustee to Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, the state-run Anadolu Agency announced on around 5 p.m. yesterday (November 1).

In his statement, Diyarbakır Governor Hüseyin Aksoy had said that governor may carry out assignments in case mayors were discharged, arrested or suspended from civil service due to terror link.

The Governor also added that the metropolitan municipality and its districts had been sent a written notice, garbage may affect public health negatively and administrative and executive actions would be taken against the ones who didn't fulfill their duty within this frame. (HK/TK)
