President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has retweeted Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli’s tweets saying that he would attend the rally on August 7 in Yenikapı of İstanbul.
Since he has taken office as the President, Erdoğan had only retweeted the tweets of Prime Ministry, Presidency and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu’s tweets in English and Turkish saying “Terrorism has no religion or borders” on his own Twitter account.
Edoğan had sent the leaders of Justice and Development Party (AKP), Republican People’s Party (CHP and MHP an invitation to hold a speech at the “Democracy and Martyrs Rally” to be held in İstanbul on August 7 and has retweeted Bahçeli saying that he would attend the rally. (ÇT/DG)
