Erdoğan Reacts Against US General

President Erdoğan as to US General Votel’s words that “The disturbance will affect the relations between the US and Turkish Armed Forces” responded, “Is it your authority to make this call?”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has visited Special Operations Presidency in Gölbaşı which was hit by jets in the July 15 coup attempt.

Erdoğan speaking in his visit responded to US Central Command (CENTCOM) Commander, General Joseph Votel saying “Turbulence in Turkey will affect the relation of the US with Turkish army whose some leaders have been arrested”.

“Is it your authority to make this call? Who do you think you are? You will first know your place”, said Erdoğan.

“Instead of thanking the state which has repelled this coup attempt, you are taking side with the coup plotters. The coup plotter is already in your country. You feed him there, it is obvious. You can never make my nation believe it”. (EA/ÇT/TK)
