After YÖK’s (Council of Higher Education) statement declaring "legal action to be taken against academic and administrative staff in parallel state formation”, the suspensions are continuing.
By July 21, 553 academics and 137 administrative personnel have been suspended in total since the beginning of investigations.
Adnan Menderes University: 19 academics, 11 administrative staff have been suspended.
Atatürk University: 11 academics have been taken into custody and suspended.
Afyon Kocatepe University: 40 academics, 16 administrative staff have been suspended.
Bülent Ecevit University: 20 academics, 11 administrative staff have been suspended.
Celal Bayar University: 84 academics, 18 administrative staff have been suspended.
Düzce University: Seven more academics have been suspended. In total 16 academics have been suspended.
Erciyes University: 16 academics have been suspended.
Hakkari University: 12 personnel have been suspended.
Karabük University: 20 academics, six administrative staff have been suspended.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University: Nine academics and two administrative staff have been suspended.
Niğde University: 181 staff including 124 administrative staff have been suspended.
Sakarya University: 34 more academics have been suspended. In total 45 academics have been suspended.
Abant İzzet Baysal University: 30 academics and four administrative staff.
Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University: Six academics including the former rector of university Sedat Laçiner have been suspended.
Uşak University: Nine academics have been suspended. (SG/BK/UA)
