Davutoğlu: They Shall See They Will Pay Heavy Prices

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has spoken at the Justice and Development Party (AKP) Extended Provincial Presidents Meeting.

“Those who enter other forces’ services, long for mandate government, don’t believe we can be independent and sovereign, sub-supplier organizations, ditches, holes, traps of the ones who produce nothing but violence and hatred will not bring Turkey to its knees”, PM Davutoğlu said.

Operations

Here are some headlines from Davutoğlu’s speech:

“Those who try to lose Turkey’s footing by digging holes, laying ambushes, detonating explosives. Turkey will not return from its intended path.

“There are political staff going into orbit of terror organizations after the election. There are sauceboxes who pay condolence visit to terrorists, dare to threaten this nation through rostrums but we know how to cut them down to size”.

Parliamentary immunities

“Here was the plan of HDP (Peoples’ Democratic Party) and CHP (People’s Republican Party); AKP wouldn’t lean towards lifting parliamentary immunities, thus the MPs supporting terror will be saved.

“Or, they will block the parliament together by claiming their (HDP) MPs’ parliamentary immunity will be lifted, and won’t allow our reform drafts pass as they did last year with internal security law. Furthermore, they will play the victim.

“We’ve invalidated these games with a single move. While they deal with little pawns, we said ‘check’ and they are checkmated”.

Summary of proceedings

“We’ve offered to discuss all the summary of proceedings referred to the parliament. By doing that, we’ve showed that first, AKP has no file to fear anyone. Even if there is, we know to settle a score.

“Secondly, HDP will never in no way play the victim, they are not victim, they are cruel and treacherous that associate with murderers.

“Now the ball is on CHP’s field, we wait for what they will say. We wait for what MHP (Nationalist Movement Party) will say. What HDP to say is already known. Their words have no value before the nation or us”.

Attack in Brussels

“There is no double standard in our world, in our system of values. The lives of those who lost their lives in terror attack in Kızılay in Ankara and the people who lost their lives in Brussels, no matter if they are Muslims or Christians, have the same value to us.

“Now everyone should their lessons from these painful incident. Those who are worried about their short-term interests by making my terrorist-your terrorist distinction, shall see or started to see that they will pay heavy prices in middle and long term.

“Europe has no other partner than Turkey to ensure regional security. They need to see this fact and act in accordance with it”. (AS/TK)
