PYD Co-Chair Salih Müslim has noted that they were in no way related to the attack in Ankara killing 28 persons and has denied Davutoğlu’s statement.
Talking with respect to the attack, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu had made a statement regarding the explosion in Ankara killing 28 persons earlier noting that a People’s Protection Units (YPG) member leaked out of Syria have carried out the attack.
According to the report of Dicle News Agency (DİHA), Müslim talking to the Skynes Arabi Television has recorded that Davutoğlu’s statement by no means reflected the reality and none of their forces nor the person S.N. pointed out by Davutoğlu as the YPG member carrying out the attack were related to the attack.
Sputnik news has reported Müslim’s statement to Novosti as follows:
“This is definitely not true. The Kurds are in no way related to what had happened in Ankara. What is happening here is related to Turkey’s fight against ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria). As a matter of fact, there are components of ISIS present in Turkey. (BK/DG)
