Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in its letter to the UN has stated that there are Turkish soldiers among the group of 100 armed people crossing into the Syrian border and that "ammunition and armament" aid to Azez region continues.
Reuters has reported that government of Syria has announced that a group of 100 armed people entered Syria by trucks on Saturday (February 15).
The trucks were reportedly carrying heavy machine guns.

The ministry also alleged that “ammunition and armament” aid to Azez region through Bab Es Salam Border Gate across Kilis.
“Moral support to jihadists”
Damascus administration interpreting Turkey’s attacks against Syrian land as “intervention in internal affairs”, has expressed that the incidents are a sign that “Turkey directly supports terrorists”.
In the letter sent to the United Nations (UN), it has been stated that “Turkey aims to provide moral support to the jihadists”.
Minister of Defense has refuted
Minister of National Defense, İsmet Yılmaz speaking at Assembly Plan and Budget Commission has refuted that there are Turkish forces among the group of 100 entering Syria.
“It is not correct”, Yılmaz responded to the question as to the subject. (AS/TK)
