President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has come together with sub-governors.
Erdoğan speaking to the sub-governors said vehicles and equipment of certain municipalities may be seized, implying those headed by Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) members.
Erdoğan reminding of his emphasis of “One nation, one state, one flag”, reiterated his demand for wiping off Gülen Community members from public institutes and institutions.
“One nation, one flag”
“They say we don’t seek a homeland; we know about their intention. You have the same rights as me. Aren’t you able to enter parliament? You are. What else do you want? Their concern is to divide and split our lands. There cannot be a state within a state.
“I always say it, we are one nation. There might be several ethnic elements but we are one nation. We are one flag. Second flag in our country is out of question. What makes flags a flag is the blood on it”.
Municipalities
“Municipalities connected to the party guided by the organization (PKK-Kurdistan Workers’ Party) have gone under the organization’s control. It is understood that some public officials latently or explicitly support it.
“We cannot allow people to be victimized. It is mandatory to turn the life back to normal in the region by seizing vehicles of municipalities if required. Furthermore, public officials providing support for the terror organization should be brought to justice”.
Gülen Community
“Our deficiency is not law in fight against terror. What we need is courageous administrators to exercise these laws.
“Don’t forget that cowards can never erect monument of victory. The same situation goes for another issue of our country, which is parallel state.
“We have to rapidly wipe off members of this organization from all levels of public institutes. This structure is registered as a terror organization operating against our state and nation.
“This is entirely a matter of security of state. Anyone making any mistake will get their just deserts. I want you to conduct the works as to parallel state more carefully.
“My support is always with you”. (EKN/TK)
