KCK: Resistance to be Carried Out to the End

Group of Communities in Kurdistan (KCK) Executive Board Co-Chairpersonship in its statement today (December 23) said, “This anti-democratic and anti-Kurdish attacks launched by AKP government will be defeated. Kurdish people will be led to democratic life, and Turkey will be led to democracy”.

“Districts blockaded, cities being bombed”

The KCK Executive Board Co-Chairpersonship statement released on Fırat News Agency (ANF) is briefly as follows:

“Districts with a population of 100,000 are blockaded by tens of thousands of soldiers, thousands of police, hundreds of tank and armored vehicles. It reveals that it is an occupying force.

“Even though it conducts this war to break the hope of Kurdish people to live in peace and democracy, they show this bloody war as an attempt to save the country from being divided”.

“Over 50 children killed in 2-3 months”

“Attacks of Turkish state are conducted in unprecedented dirty methods and the consequences are heavy. There is not a single day in which women, children or old people don’t get killed.

“Just killing of over 50 children in the last 2-3 months reveals the character of the bloody war the Turkish state conducts. Tens of youngsters also have fallen victim resisting against these attacks”.

“Water tanks, transformers have been targeted”

“Leaving people without water, which has never been seen in any war before, manifests how dirty the war Turkey conducts is.

“The water tanks above the houses have been targeted and destroyed. Transformers are being exploded. It clearly demonstrates who wants to poison people and take them captive”.

“Ditches will be dug, and barricades will be built”

“Surely, ditches will be dug and barricades will be built against the attacks. Ditches and barricades have always been built for defense. If there are ditches and barricades, then there is a more violent attacker with armed forces.

“Kurdish people indeed will bring up their own solution against deadlock and that resist against the attacks.

“Today, all resistances carried out in Sur, Cizre, Nusaybin, Silop, Kerboran, Gewer, Farqin, Bismil, Derik and Warto are all Kurdish people’s freedom and democracy resistance.  

“Democratic forces should maintain a stance”

“All democratic forces, socialists, progressive humanity, human rights organizations, international forces sensitive to democracy and human rights of the world maintain a stance against the state and AKP government.

“They should once again demonstrate that they won’t remain silence against attacks on freedom and human rights by maintaining a stance.

“No matter how heavy these attacks are, the resistance will be carried out to the end and that those responsible for these massacre policies will be sooner or later punished”. (AS/TK)
