İdris Baluken, Group Deputy Chair of Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) has noted: “We are going to accept the Prime Minister’s request for an appointment on December 30”.
Davutoğlu’s request for an appointment has also been responded positively by Kılıçdaroğlu, leader of the Republican People’s Party (CHP).
Yesterday (December 22) Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu had asked CHP Leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Leader; Devlet Bahçeli and HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş for appointment to discuss the new constitution, internal regulations and reforms.
Prime Minister Davutoğlu will ask the leaders about their opinions on the new constitution and that the process of setting the course will be launched.
It is also expected, that Davutoğlu would discuss introducing the system of court of appeal instead of Supreme Council of Judges and Prosecutors, new legislation in individual appeal, a structural change in Supreme Council of Judges and Prosecutors and abolishing military judgement with the leaders.
