The curfew declared in Ilıcak village of Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak province has been lifted.
Following statement has been made on the official website of Şırnak Governorship as to the curfew:
Curfew declared in Ilıcak village of Beytüşşebap district of our province on 17.05.2016 Tuesday (today) at 5 a.m. in accordance with the Article 32/Ç of the Provincial Administration Law No. 5442 until further notice has been lifted on 17.05.2016 as of 7 p.m.
The curfew declared in the center of Şırnak province on March 14 is utill in effect.

The district in eastern Şırnak is located approximately 20 km away from the Iraqi and Syrian borders.According to the census in 2015, its population is 17.100, 852 of which is from the rural area and 5,248 is from the center of the province. Ilıcak village is located 125 km away from the center of Şırnak and 7 km from Beytüşşebap province. The village has an elementary school and drink-water supply network. Yet there is no community clinic or sanitarium.
