President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has made a statement as to attack in Ankara in General Staff Presidency.
He commented on Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and Democratic Union Party’s (PYD) announcements that they are in no way related to the attack, and said that information and documents they obtained suggest otherwise.
“Even though both PKK and PYD say they are in no way related to the attack, it has come to light through information and documents obtained by all of our intelligence organizations that they are responsible for the attack. The chain has started to unravel. 14 people are in custody. My estimation is there will be more to follow”.
Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu in his statement today said, “It has become evident that members of the separatist terrorist organization and a YPG member leaked out of Syria have carried out the attack”.
“Our fight against terror is producing results”
Minister of Interior Efkan Ala and Minister of National Defense İsmet Yılmaz have attended Erdoğan’s condolence visit to the General Staff. General Staff President, Hulusi Akar was also present in the press statement.
“This incident has showed this; our fight against terror activities taking place recently in Turkey is significantly producing results. These results we get produce positive results in especially our country, and on local community”. (HK/TK)
