M.A.A who confirmed to have set the Müjdat Gezen Art's Center on fire has confessed his crime.
Testifying before the Anti-Terror Department, M.A.A. has confessed that he set the art center on fire as Müjdat Gezen had insulted Abdul Hamid II.'s fifth generation-granddaughter Nilhan Osmanoğlu.

A fire had broken out in Müjdat Gezen Art Center in İstanbul's Kadıköy district in the night hours on February 20.
Bottles and plastic gloves were found in the garden and trash box of the building as a result of the fire extinguishing.
Artist Müjdat Gezen told Sözcü newspaper it was an arson.
"It is an incident of arson. A man with beard crosses the street with a gas can and set [the building] on fire. The police work is ongoing. I hope it will be revealed as soon as possible", Gezen said.
Müjdat Gezen Art Center was targeted by pro-government AKİT TV a week before the incident. (EKN/DG)
