IMDb (Internet Movie Database) a worldwide known online database for movies, television and video games has called President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan a “dictator” in the introduction text of “Reis” (leader), a film about the life of Erdoğan.
As the film was introduced earlier on IMDb, the same expression “dictator” was used on the introduction line, yet was later replaced by the word “politician” due to reactions.
Yet the word “dictator” again has begun to be used in the introduction line of the film which read as follows;
“Following the life of the Dictator Recep Tayyip Erdogan, a Turkish politician who has been the 12th President of Turkey since 2014”.
About the film
The film was directed by Hüdaverdi Yavuz. Actor Reha Beyoğlu plays Erdoğan and actress Özlem Balcı performs as Erdoğan’s wife Emine Erdoğan.
The music of the film is composed by Yücel Arzen and the producer of the film is "Kafkasör Film Akademisi & Garantialsat Gayrimenkul Yatırım A.Ş." (EKN/DG)
