President Abdullah Gül said "The documents are already sent" but the prosecutor haven’t received Uludere documents yet.
President Abdullah Gül stated 'Military authorities gave all kinds of documents and information to the related judicial authorities' however there's still an uncertainty about the documents and information related to Uludere massacre.
'We demanded the necessary information and documents from the Presidency of General Staff and we have not received them yet' announced Diyarbakır Special Authority Prosecutor in charge of the Roboski massacre investigation. Uludere Sub-Commission reminded that they demanded the investigation file from the prosecutor however the file is not sent to them'
According to Taraf newspaper the Head of Commission İhsan Şener from Justice and Democracy Party (AKP) told, 'We are waiting for documents within a week. I am hopeful, we'll receive them. We'll have our last meeting after receiving those documents. If we do not receive the documents, we'll go on working with what we have and we'll complete our report in this way. We'll share our report with the public before July 1st.'
'I believe the documents and information are not sent to the Commission intentionally. This is spoliation of evidence' told Commission member Levent Gök from Republican People's Party (CHP)
The members of the Commission began to write their reports on massacre. They'd completed the technical parts of the report however they couldn't begin the 'main' part yet. They are waiting for the documents demanded from the prosecution and they mention that the most important documents are the ones that are belonged to General Staff.
The General Staff sent to the commission 'the operation is handled in accordance with deportation rules' annotation but they did not send the documents and information related to the massacre, citing the 'privacy' decision.
On the other hand, Diyarbakır Special Authority Prosecutor authorities told 'Most probably we'll send the file containing the documents and information demanded by the Commission this week' (IC)
